Snunu is a Lebanese-Canadian independent production collective focused on the development and production of original stories in film, digital and physical media.

Established by a group of filmmakers with a shared commitment to telling underrepresented stories that reflect the realities, ambitions, and complexities of the Arab world, while engaging global themes through a contemporary lens.

With productions in Lebanon, Italy, France and Canada, Snunu brings regional insight and international perspective to each project. The team works across development, production, post-production, and event curation, with a growing network of collaborators and partners throughout SWANA, Europe and North America.

Snunu operates with an accessible, community-rooted production model that prioritizes artist-led-execution, and audience reach, contributing to a formally and politically engaged cinema that is both locally grounded and globally resonant.

Just like us, the Snunu is a small, agile, and proud bird. It knows how small it is and it embraces this fact with all its might, it doesn’t pretend to be an Eagle, Falcon or Phoenix.
