A Lebanese filmmaker in a peaceful Italian village, feeling guilty about making films while his home is being ravaged by war.

Production Information

This film was made during Cinemadamare Extra, a film residency in a tiny town in south Italy, Monticchio Bagni.

It was born out of the contradiction that I (Shadi) was living at that moment in time: The ultimate peace and tranquility of Monticchio, and the absolute carnage of the Israeli war on Lebanon.

All I could think of was war, and all I could see was peace. Finally I asked myself how I can communicate this to an Italian audience.
