Snunu is a Lebanese-Canadian independent production collective focused on the development and production of original stories in film, digital and physical media.

Established by a group of filmmakers with a shared commitment to telling underrepresented stories that reflect the realities, ambitions, and complexities of the Arab world, while engaging global themes through a contemporary lens.

With productions in Lebanon, Italy, France and Canada, Snunu brings regional insight and international perspective to each project. The team works across development, production, post-production, and event curation, with a growing network of collaborators and partners throughout Europe, MENA and North America.

Snunu operates with an accessible, community-rooted production model that prioritizes story, artist-led-execution, and audience reach, supporting formally and politically engaged cinema that is both locally grounded and globally resonant.

In parallel, the company aims to contributes to the cultural landscape through curated screenings, talks, and public programming, to foster a sustainable and inclusive independent film ecosystem that crosses borders.

Just like us, The Snunu is a small, fast, agile, and beautiful bird. It knows how small it is and it embraces this fact with all its might, it doesn’t pretend to be a big and strong Eagle, Falcon or Phoenix.
